GA-Terminal

Designed as a fly-in and drive-in building, the GA-Terminal aims to address the pleasure of flying, in a time of increased security protocols.

MAximised experience

The General Aviation Terminal of Schiphol Airport is used for exclusive passenger flights. To maximise the luxury and comfort of the experience of the travellers – often royal families, heads of states or celebrities – the organization of the building provides for an immediate, protected transfer from car to airplane. Rather than limiting the passengers’ privacy, the integration of office spaces with the terminal allows for an intelligent use of resources. The additional program is located on top of the terminal, forming a canopy sheltering the area of boarding. Through the design of the windows, a direct visual connection with the terminal is avoided, while the offices enjoy maximum views of the wider environment.
