AZïeweg

Like jewels in a large green park, a collection of circular towers, connected through shared spaces, reinterprets the typical qualities of the surrounding post-war neighbourhood.

URBAN PLAN

The six similarly looking towers give space to a large variety of housing types. While three of the towers consist of owner-occupied apartments for a broad target group, the other three are aimed specifically at an elderly population, offering housing options with different levels of care and medical support. By solving the necessary parking by means of a semi-sunken garage, a car-free, park-like landscape is created, with public and collective spaces for the different user groups.

Round Towers

The towers are in 50% round. This makes on the one hand the project more feasible and on the other hand it creates a double hight outside space connected to the living room. This is achieved by turning each floor 45º and the tower appears 100% round.
